If you read the webtoon, you already know the next 16 episodes are gonna be full of emotions...

Well, as somebody who read the webtoon, l was already rooting for this to be turned to a Kdrama and they did.... I just watched the first episode and already, l was crying and fuming with anger at the same time, l wonder how it's gonna be for the next 15episodes to come
Marry my husband basically has almost and l just said almost the same plot as Perfect marriage revenge, the difference is if she changes something, something will happen to another person.... A twist right??? I recommend this soooo much... Its a good way to start 2024.....tho Minyoung needs to gain weight lateršŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜

I think the most important thing is to like the plot of the story, I love revenge

I think I'm going to really like the drama, I love this plot of the protagonist getting a chance, you know, I find it so engaging. I thought the leads were beautiful, I love this actress and I think she's going to act a lot. The first episode was the kind that hooks you, you know? It makes you curious about what will happen in the future. Anyway, the drama reminds me a lot of Perfect Marriage Revenge, which excites me because that drama really got to me and I consider it the best of 2023. Oh, I saw that the main actress lost weight for the drama, and I was amazed because the woman delivers so much, my god. Anyway, I'm anxious for the other episodes

Good stakes for a time travel revenge drama

Just watched episode 1 and will update when I've finished the drama.

Wanted to note that in the first episode the drama does one thing immediately better than most time travel dramas in this Melo romance genre: it creates stakes.

If the female lead (Park Minyoung) changes something about her fate then it happens to someone else. If it doesn't transfer to someone else then it will definitely happen to her. So every action is balanced.

This lends a tightness to the story I wasn't expecting.

A little disapointed!

I've read the webtoon and i loved it so i was expecting more from the drama but sadly...
they changed too much.. the acting was good of course. i know all the actors... but really they didnt do what it had to be done with the story i mean.
they took out scenes that were important, they changed the timeline of the events, they even changed the personality of some characters... they put in drama that was not necessary and not in the webtoon...if i say more i'll basically spoil the whole drama...I am gonna watch til the end the drama but that is not gonna change my point of view sadly.
i understand that some stuff are not gonna be the same but this is too much in my opinion.
what should i say... disapointed.

How did the director mess up such a good story? Bests me and beats the score

ā€¼ļøA super lengthy reviewā€¼ļø

I mean how hard can it be to make a series. I know it is a very difficult task but you have a well laid out story, and great actors so how can someone mess this up so badly.

I had a lot of expectations with this one but it was a total let down. There is a way of connecting to your viewers but pulling emotional cards is definitely not the way. Too many emotional cliches only bore the audience.

The way the director and the writers have carried this out is totally wrong and boring. It has so many cliches that it is reminding me of the heirs. The original story was pretty firm and nice so I donā€™t get why they changed the complete story for cliches.

Ji Won is not coming out as a strong character nor is Su Min coming out as a villain. Su Min feels like a character dead set on coveting the ML in manhwas who are always idiotic and annoying.

Tbh this series could have done very well on so many grounds but the story is disappointing. I was bearing with it but after I saw the fiancĆ©/ ex gf cliche I was so done. And whatā€™s up with the self sacrifice ? I am not watching an army movie that I will see self sacrifice.
How did the man survive the truck only god knows.

The ost is nothing great too. Nothing that will make me you know want to sit and enjoy the songs itā€™s just normal. And for some reason no matter how I try I cannot see the Chemistry between those too. Oh also the sponsor placing is way too obvious and it is almost hilarious.

Healing Revenge : Marry My Huband leaves you craving for more.

This drama is not just about returning to the past and getting revenge on those who wronged you, instead, it combines healing yourself, finding yourself, and romance alongside with revenge.

While watching this drama, you will not find yourself bored, instead watching with anticipation of what's going to happen because it gives you QUALITY with literally everything! ~ the dialogues, the makeover, the romance, revenge, and healing!

This drama uses a classic revenge plot, everything has been done before, yet it is done in a manner where that does not feel annoying or repetitive, you can expect to see common things like:
- FL & ML who goes back to the past āœ…
- Fl gets revenge on the people who were close to her āœ…
- truly shameless ex-boyfriend and best friend āœ…
- Rich Ml who has loved the FL for a long timeāœ…

- Acting: The actors did an amazing job of portraying the characters so that you can feel their emotions; the shameless boyfriend and ex-best friend will make your blood boil and want to scratch their eyes out... I want to go inside the screen and slap both of them. They made me so mad!! (ā•ÆĀ°ā–”Ā°)ā•Æļøµ ā”»ā”ā”» )
p.s: The best acting reward goes to: THE CUTEST ORANGE CAT! (so adorable!!)

- Plot: Although nothing about the plot is new and the themes are common, the drama does a good job of making its twists and turns to keep the watchers engaged. The revenge is so satisfying and the romance between the leads grows as well as their character development. FL slowly and steadily became strong with the male leads' support to get revenge and get back at them.

- Music: Honestly, I do not remember a single song they used as it blended into the background a little too well, and it was not overall impactful. However, there were these scenes where they used BTS songs for a big moment! And it was very unique and cute!!

At this point, if you haven't watched it, I going to come to kidnap you and make you watch! So give it a chance ^^

Ep1

I've finished watching the episode and I can only say good words, the acting is very realistic, both actors have chemistry and I hope we don't have a love threesome. This is my first kdrama in 2024 and a best choose.

There are some scenes very hard but it the true, not a pink life. I want to listen the BSO but is very early because itā€™s the first ep.

I think it can be one of the best kdramas of this year, we're still starting but the premiere has been good.

We're going to see revenge and lots of self-love. I LOVE IT.

Get ready for a rollercoaster of emotions!

It's the typical time-travel vs revenge plot, but with so many twists!

Marry my husband! it takes us on a captivating journey of fantasy, romance, and time travel. This enchanting series flawlessly blends a mesmerizing storyline with genuinely incredible chemistry between the leads.

The drama centers around two people who, through a twist of fate, find themselves transported ten years back in time. As they navigate this new reality, their paths cross, but guess what? One has a revenge to take and the other one has a first love that wants to pursue.

The first leads have awesome chemistry. You will literally be mesmerized by the palpable chemistry between them. The second leads, oh well! you will hate them greatly. They are the devil himself lol

Also, the visually stunning cinematography, complemented by well-chosen sceneries, elevates the mood. The aesthetics are magnificent.

overall, if you're in for a romantic fantasy drama with a great plot and chemistry, don't miss it:)

is it what we expected it to be ?

this show is still on going so my review is limited to ep 13 .

So i d like to discuss the plot, or what was revealed of it untill now:
The story of going back in time , being reborn, getting a second chance in life , is very washed out , specially in asian shows, however i wouldnt say it s a disadvantage to the popularity of the show , but i personally wasnt drawn to watch this serie because of that , so it wasnt a plus to the popularity of the show either.
Also , marriage , affairs , and revenge are elements that form a classic combination, but a veryyy attractive one . we all like a saucy show. so i d say that this was the magnet point for me . i was anticipating how Ji Woon would establish justice and use her second life to turn the tables around to a more fair destiny, but as i was watching , i was overwhelmed by Soo Min s attitude and schemes, so i started to look forward to that even more. i m being very subjective here by the way , i could b feeling this way because i m more inclined to villain roles , or because Soo Min overpowered Ji won .
Honestly speaking , Soo Min managed to get a strong reaction out of me every time she was in the camera frame, whilst i felt that Ji Won was too slow to transition from the pathetic victim to the strong vendetta character. ...Which is understable , but as a viewer i couldnt help but be disappointed by her fragility. ...Now , dont get me wrong , i m not all against a soft fragile character, but episode 1 came off so strong , it summed up a vey miserable life and a very pitiful death , which i think was enough to fuel Ji Won s anger and toughen her as soon as she got her second chance in life. for example , after the school reunion , Ji Won found out everything that Soo Min did, but her reaction was so poor.

The toxic dynamics between So min and Ji won is the best part for me. Soo Min acting creepy , despicable and just dirty made no sense from ep1 to ep12, we had to wait till ep 13 to understand her motive, which was a typical overstretched motive , a very kdrama style motive if you get what i mean. Yet , i d like to congratulate whoever wrote that , because instead of settling down with the jealous friend scenario , they went a little deeper and introduced a new link which is stepsisters , this highlights the notion of " other half" that was repeated throughout the episodes.

Ji Woon and her cheating boyfriend didnt get much attention from me , maybe because the cast didnt seem to have chemistry? We werent heartbroken to see him cheating on her because it felt very expected seeing how he was a terrible boyfriend since the begining .
But the boyfriend and Su Min r a verryyy entertaining pair, as a forbidden relationship, then as the puppets in Ji Won's master plan, then finally as crime accomplices .They r very enjoyable to watch.

Ji Won and Mr Yu 's romance is average really, typical kdrama style, male lead loves female lead since younger years , then they reunite and so on . But of course, just like every one else, i look forward to their moments together, and root for Mr Yu to defend and miraculously save Ji Won everytime, which eventually does happen , because again the love line is very classic so as not to say expected .

Mr Yu 's fiancƩ is a newly introduced character . Was she necessary to the progression of events? i cant say until the show ends. But i m curious to see , whether she s the variable in Ji Won 's second life , or she embodied the role of someone else from Ji Won 's first life . Because from what i understood, the fate of the people doesnt change, it just gets swapped with someone else's, So whose fate does this fiancƩ hold now?

What bothered me though, is JI Won giving up on Mr Yu when she found out he was engaged. which again accentuates her weak personality, and pisses me of as a viewer lol. She has seen the blue heart on his chest, why is she ignoring a crucial sign that indicates how strong their bond is? instead she went back to square one, victimizing herself and villainizing Mr Yu , as if he betrayed her ?? i think Ji Won had enough reasons to hold onto him no matter what the consequences were going to be.

Not to forget the supporting roles and their sub plots , who in my opinion , were definitely a positive addition to the show, with a wide variety of emotions , from humorous to sad,

Ms Yang being the receieving end of the tragic fate of Ji Won was the perfect turn of events. The way i see it is , Ji Won was giving the second life to make decisons and actively act upon them to prevent the tragedy . She was not meant to inflict or cause the tragedy , which is why it wouldnt make sense if Su Min was the one who gets her fate. So , now that Mrs Yang is the one concerned, Ji Won will get the chance to make the moves she couldnt in her previous life, she now can correct those sad events as if they were hers, which we can see in the preview of ep 14, where she ll possibly stand up for Mrs Yang and prevent her death.

Overall, despite how generic the plot may sound, it has a few interesting twists .The end of the show can either boost up our favorable reaction with an unexpected closure, or keep our feet on the ground with a common finale.

Pawn off my horrible husband to my horrible best friend

I donā€™t know why but sometimes I just get a. Certain feeling while watching a drama. The kind where itā€™s one of a kind and soon to be irreplaceable. Now Iā€™ve seen many drama with Park Min Young in it, and I love her. Sheā€™s so sweet of an actress and a visual, and is a very talented woman. Iā€™m captivated by every performance, but now Iā€™ve finally seen a drama of hers that really does her acting justice.

There have been glimpses in others. This drama just hits all the boxes, itā€™s funny, gripping, heartbreaking, and sheā€™s put the work in. Hearing her story to get into the role got me to watch in the first place. I donā€™t know much about the other actors involved besides the second ML, who was in Welcome to Waikiki.. he is so hilarious.. go watch that.

So Iā€™ve seen a lot of romantic comedies this year and have rated them well, but they slowly lose my interest all at once. This one just has so much to keep me watching. Revenge is something I love to see played out, a woman who is calculating and doesnā€™t get swept up by love. Sheā€™s got a motive here and with the first handful of episodes itā€™s already so satisfying to see her slowly chip away at a life she refuses to have.

Iā€™ll go more into this when I can type on a computer. But for now I want to just recommend this drama. The ending ost for the last two eps is so so good and itā€™s just interesting ok. Believe me and watch.

Love, Betrayal and Second Chances: Marry My Husband Starts on Promising Note

Episode 1 was truly captivating. I thoroughly enjoyed it. After a long time i liked tvN's Mon-Tue dramas pilot episode, the presentation was grounded with good production values.
The cinematography and direction were stellar. I loved that cherry blossom scene although it wasnt a typical romantic scene, it was visually beautiful.

Coming to the plot both her husband and best friend were cheating on her and they are trash. Due to an accident, she got killed and time traveled back to 2013, embarking on a journey to rectify her mistakes. I loved her swift grasp of the situation and her proactive efforts to avert the fate she faced in the future.

In terms of performances, i must commend PMY, Lee Yikyung, and Song Hayoon. My initial reservations about Lee Yikyung's casting, given his predominantly comic roles were dispelled. His portrayal was similar to Kim Byung Chul's role from Dr. Cha, showcased versatility portraying a character that is both trash husband yet inherently comedic.

Sumin's character is kind of stupid. I mean, Minhwan is neither rich nor good in character and even his mother is trash yet she, a successful career woman, was having an affair with him. Like come on girl, you can really get better than this trash but i guess only two reasons can justify her behavior: first, her jealousy towards FL and second insurance money after FL's death.
In future episodes, Sumin is definitely going to be the most vicious character of the show and honestly im really excited to see how her character fleshes out and how Song Hayoon performs in this particular role. I guess im looking forward to her role the most.

PMY's portrayal of Kang Jiwon was compelling. It seems like she has finally landed good project with a promising role. Jiwon's intelligence shines through and she wastes no time after time traveling to the past determined to reshape her future with smartness.

The story premise and EP 1 definitely reminded me of Perfect Marriage Revenge but i will say i liked this one more than PMR. From production quality to acting, everything seems really nice, which i felt was lacking in PMR.

A Candid Review of MMH

To all the dedicated fans of MMH, your passion is truly admirable. However, it's time to be honest - The intricacies of the narrative seemed to unfold at a leisurely speed, testing my patience as a viewer.

The central character, the female lead, plays a crucial role, yet her abilities felt somewhat restricted due to an expressionless and icy demeanor. The chemistry with the male lead, though integral to the plot, came across as cold and robotic, lacking the warmth that often defines captivating on-screen relationships.

Despite the drama's high production standards and a commendable storyline, I couldn't find that magical touch that often captivates audiences. Nevertheless, my intention is not to diminish the appreciation others may have for it. Sending love to the fandom, as everyone's taste in dramas is unique.
