Lee Jin Wook will reportedly work with Song Hye Kyo and Jeon Yeo Been in a new film

Lee Jin Wook will possibly work alongside Song Hye Kyo and Jeon Yeo Been in the upcoming movie Dark Nuns. 

On February 14,  media outlets shared that Lee Jin Wook will be added to the cast of the upcoming movie Dark Nuns. 

Lee Jin Wook's agency gave their official statement regarding the circulating reports. According to BH Entertainment, "Lee Jin Wook did receive the offer to star in the new film. He is positively considering the offer."

If Lee Jin Wook decides to officially join the movie, this will be his grand comeback to the big screen. He last starred in the 2021 film A Year-End Medley. 

Aside from the upcoming movie, Lee Jin Wook is the new addition to Squid Game Season 2. Many are already anticipating how Lee Jin Wook's character will affect the story of the most beloved Netflix original K-drama. 

Lee Jin Wook is also set to return to Sweet Home Season 3 with Song Kang, Go Min Si, Lee Si Young, Yoo Oh Sung, and Oh Jung Se.

The actor is known for being part of the works Doona!, Welcome to Wedding Hell, Bulgasal: Immortal Souls, Sweet Home, The Time We Were Not in Love, three seasons of Voice, High Society, The Beauty Inside, Miss Granny, and more.

Back in November last year, it was reported that Song Hye Kyo and Jeon Yeo Been would be leading the upcoming film. Their agencies responded and shared that the two are also positively considering starring in the film. 

Dark Nuns will reportedly be the spin-off of the 2015 movie The Priests led by  Kim Yoon Seok, Kang Dong Won, Park So Dam, Kim Eui Sung, Son Jong Hak, and Lee Ho Jae. It will be the female version of the 2015 movie and it will share the same worldview. 

Lee Jin Wook got the offer to portray the role of a priest. 

The upcoming movie will be helmed by director Jang Jae Hyun, the same director of the 2015 film The Priests as well as Svaha: The Sixth Finger, 12th Assistant Deacon, and the soon-to-premiere movie Exhuma. 

According to reports, the upcoming movie Dark Nuns will begin filming within the year.
